| Building
restoration can involve a complex and detailed veneer rehabilitation process.
Whether it is to re-attach or reconnect the existing facades to the back-up
structure for historical renovation, or the existing veneer is part of
a seismic restoration for the building rehabilitation, restoration anchors
may be necessary. In some areas of the country, façade inspection
laws mandate a thorough analysis for masonry stabilization of the brick
or stone panel veneer’s. CTP provides a complete product line of
masonry restoration anchors aimed to re-stabilize brick cladding or stone
façade repair.
In
the event the back-up is a multi-wythe wall, wood back-up, steel stud,
concrete back-up, block back-up, or tile back-up, replacement ties are
available to add wall stiffness and re-anchor the masonry façade.
Stone retrofit anchors are also capable to re-anchor granite, limestone,
marble, travertine, and other stone materials to various back-up materials.
Helical anchors, mechanical anchors, and mechanical stone anchors accomplish
a façade stabilization process.

| Stitch-Tie
are helical ties commonly used in masonry repair. The stainless steel
helical ties are low cost, easy to install, and provide significant performance
characteristics when used for re-anchoring brick or re-anchoring stone.
The Torque-Tie
is a mechanical repair anchor that is more formidable and versatile then
the spiral anchors. It too can be used to re-tie brick and re-tie stone
facades. Its torque activation provides a continuous source for site inspection.
It is manufactured of stainless steel and brass which provides for long
term corrosion resistant ties.
The Panel-Tie
provides stone re-anchoring for wind anchors and support anchors for stone
façade restoration. They are mechanically activated either torque
connections or hammer set ties that solve many stone panel re-anchoring
situations. The stone stabilization anchors are manufactured of corrosion
resistant materials for long term performance.
The Strapmaster
is a portable tool used to produce stone anchors at the jobsite. The unit
can produce stainless steel wall ties to restrain stone. It will cut bend
and punch 1/8” stainless steel strap up to 1-1/2” wide. It
will also cut and bend stainless dowels up to 3/8” diameter.
The Metal
Flashing Clip provides a mechanical attachment for metal
flashing into masonry. It is stainless steel and saves expensive labor
time by providing a grip onto to metal flashing prior to pointing.
